Viva Italia! The Garibaldians..

You come across some remarkable stories doing the tours. This is the monument to Bruno and Constante Garibaldi (grandsons of Italian unification leader, Guiseppe) who with their 500 legionnaires served here and also in the vaguard of Vittorio Veneto in N.Italy. The fighting they took part in this part of the front was in the winter of 1914-15 when the French held the line.
